Yes, another one of these. Admittedly, I strongly prefer cartoons on my "kid's" TV channels, even back when I was a kid myself. Even though I liked shows such as "All That" and "That's so Raven", I would much rather watch the cartoons. And I especially had no tolerance for the game shows they used to have on Nickelodeon (though looking back, "Legends of the Hidden Temple" was much more interesting than I gave it credit for at the time)
Nowadays, Nickelodeon and the various Disney channels are practically drowning in live action tween sitcoms, many following the same godforsaken formula. Again, I am highly biased towards cartoons, despite my age. I admit it: I AM A CARTOON SNOB, OKAY?!

I wouldn't mind it if they at least tried something new instead of the basic formulas. Like for example, "iCarly". While it wasn't quite the best, one thing they would explore every once in a while is her relationship with her family. While it wasn't looked upon the most, the moments where they showed her relations with her brother and even rarer, their father— had some of the better moments if the show.
Making a "Tween-Com" is easy, it's making it stand out is what's the challenge.
