Here we go, my first meme! For this meme, picked 10 of my favorite movies (not my exact top ten since I have so many favorites). So here we go, in rough order:
#10 Scott Pilgrim VS The World - Screw the box office, this is an awesome film full of action, romance, and awesome special effects. I'll admit that I didn't see this movie until it came out on DVD, but it got me interested in the comic books it was based on, and I fell in love with the quirky world Bryan Lee O'Malley created.
#9 The Corpse Bride - While I like The Nightmare Before Christmas, I enjoyed this one as well. It's surprisingly sweet and slightly creepy, but all around, a delightful movie.
#8 The A-Team - I think this is an underrated film that's fun to watch, but then, I don't know much about physics.
#7 District 9 - While this movie has some flaws, to me, it's still an enjoyable action flick that really gets you involved with the characters.
#6 How to Train Your Dragon - This is a great film to watch if you like dragons like I do. It's a delightful film, beautifully animated and well-written.
#5 Megamind - I saw this movie for the first time recently, and highly enjoyed their take on the battle between superheroes and supervillains.
#4 Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Out of the four Indiana Jones movies (yes, there WERE four movies, get over it), this one is the best in my opinion.
#3 Back to the Future - While I like all three movies equally, I put up the poster for the first movie here because, well... it's the first movie in the trilogy. And why it's on my top ten list should be obvious.
#2 Princess Mononoke - One of two Miyazaki films on my list, it's a great story that manages to make both sides (human and nature) sympathetic.
#1 Spirited Away - The other Miyazaki film and my top favorite film (on this list at least), a well-animated anime film that deserves all the recognition it gets.
Like I said, this is the only ten movies I like. Maybe I'll do a part two, if I can think of more... (Is that allowed?)
